Oh Happy May!

Hello! Happy Friday to you :) Hope you are enjoying the first week of May, no matter where you are! It certainly feels like summer is on the way here in Ireland. The sun has finally found us ;)

Thank you so much to everyone who entered last months challenge. It was wonderful to see all the creations for Anything but a card. With great difficulty, as always (!) our DT chose the top 3 -
1st - Linda #64
2nd - Ellapu #4
3rd - Pamellia #20

Please take the badge at the side, and display it proudly!

This month our challenge is influenced by our centenary celebrations of the 1916 Rising.
The Rising was launched by Irish republicans to end British rule in Ireland and establish an independent Irish Republic while the United Kingdom was heavily engaged in World War I. It was the most significant uprising in Ireland since the rebellion of 1798, and the first armed action of the Irish revolutionary period. (Thanks to Wikipedia!)
So influenced by our historic year, our theme is "a step back in time". This theme can be interpreted anyway you choose (vintage, historic etc etc)

We look forward to seeing your wonderful entries. Please note some blogs we are unable to comment on, as we don't have a subscription/membership.
