Check out Henryka's blog for more close ups.

For this month challenge- I have made my first attempt at mixed media and I used my favourite colours- purple and pink. Also I used Prima All Star papers, cheesecloth, paints, acrylic paint, gears, chipboard, brads, flowers, stamps, washi tape, embossing with white and clear powder and rhinestones.

I had fun with inks, embossing paste, stencils, stamps, die cuts and lots of blues!

In Ireland, June is dominated by state exams - Junior Cert. and Leaving Cert. And in typical fashion, the weather improves dramatically once all the students have to sit the exams! :/ This month our theme is:

Our challenges are open to ANYTHING crafty or arty - cardmaking, scrapbooking, altered art, crochet, knitting, sewing, cake decorating, painting, drawing, candle making, jewellery making, whatever makes you craft or be creative we would like to see it!

This month we are showcasing some of our DT entries today, and then mid-month we will show some more! So be sure to pop back on Wednesday 18th June for the other DT projects.

Sunny, bright colors and flowers, that's my project for June Challenge.
Simple card made for Mothers Day.
In Poland we have that celebration on 26th of May.

For this month challenge I made a soft shabby chic card for my sister's confirmation.

For the Summery / Flowery challenge I chose the Summer at the Beach option .
The card was made with a 5x5 tentfold card,  freebie papers form my stash and a clear stamp set from Stamps of Life.

Summer to me means long days and gorgeous sunsets, teenagers doing exams, off to college, first job ... I'm hoping a Good Luck card will come in handy for some of these Summer occasions!

I used a freebie pad of paper for this project, then simply covered the box.
I painted the corners with white paint and decorated with flowers.

I made a keepsake box for a very good friend, with flowery papers, doilies etc.

So that's our Design Team's beautiful inspiration :)
